Groups and Activities

Sisterhood
The Sisterhood is a group of women who come together to share friendship, provide community service, go on outings, like to theaters/museums and host engaging speakers. The Sisterhood is a group where women can feel connected spiritually, intellectually and socially. Open to members and non-members alike.

Brotherhood
Our Men's organization's Sunday morning breakfasts featuring prominent speakers are a tradition at B'nai Torah. As well as providing an informative social forum for its members, the Brotherhood strives to achieve important synagogue and community goals.

Rosh Chodesh Women's Group
Our Women's Group meets monthly to explore women's changing roles in Judaism through the years and discuss various topics of interest such as Jewish holidays and biblical interpretations from a women's point of view, the Kabbalah, mothers and daughters, and family life.

Couples Club
Our Couples Club provides the opportunity to meet other couples on a more social basis. Various social events are planned throughout the year.

Senior Adults
Just some of the many activities offered to our seniors include trips, discussions, social events, and community service.

Trumbull Interfaith Committee
TIC meets monthly with the other religious organizations in Trumbull to further inter-religious understanding. Each year there is an interfaith service held for Thanksgiving.

Israel Action Committee
This Committee keeps us up-to-date on action we can take to support Israel. It is interfacing with the JCCS to co-sponsor a community-wide Israel Product Fair.

Book Club
Our avid readers meet once a month to discuss their monthly literary selection.
