Registration for September 2008 begins December
10, 2007 for synagogue members, and current and past Nursery
School families. On January 3, 2008 registration is open
to the public.
At our school each child is encouraged
to develop physically, socially, emotionally and intellectually.
Kindness, cooperation, assertiveness and independence
are nurtured while your child is able to grow at his
or her own pace.

About Our School

B’nai Torah Nursery
School is a non-profit program operated by Congregation
B’nai Torah. It is a non-sectarian school with a
strong Judaic enrichment program.

Our school is fully
licensed by the state of Connecticut, and has an excellent
teaching staff.

In a cheerful, safe environment,
children are given opportunities to participate in
art, music, block building, role-playing,
nature and cooking. Regularly scheduled movement
and music enrichment classes enhance our school program.There
are
indoor and outdoor physical activities.

Small class sizes provide an opportunity for individual
attention as well as group interaction.

About Our Classes
-
The Two year old
class meets Tuesdays and Thursdays from 9:00 a.m.
- 11:00 a.m. during the first half of the year. During
the second half of the year, the class extends to
11:30 a.m.
-
The Three
year old class meets Monday, Wednesday, and
Friday from 9:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m.
-
The Four year-old class meets Monday through
Friday from 9:00 a.m. - 12:00 Noon.
-
An Extended Day option
is available Monday, Wednesday, and Friday
from 12:00 Noon to 1:00
p.m. for children in the Three year-old class
and Monday through Friday from 12:00 Noon to
1:00 p.m. for children in the Four year-old
class..
To
be eligible for their respective programs, children
must
be two, three or four
years old
by December 31st.

Goals of B’nai Torah Nursery School

To ensure every child’s
safety and well-being.

To provide a warm, loving,
caring, nurturing and relaxed environment for children to
work and play in.

growth of each child; building self-confidence, a sense of
worth, and encouraging decision-making.

caring and sensitivity for others, and encourage cooperative

growth with a wide variety of age-appropriate activities
to satisfy the individual needs of each child. To encourage
independence, motivation and an enthusiasm for learning,
exploring and creating.

for physical growth; participate in fine and large motor
activities indoors and outdoors.

of Judaic enrichment.

About Our Summer Program
Camp 2008 runs from June 23 through
Aug 8
Two programs are available: one for
toddlers and one for three and four year olds.
Our dedicated staff supports and cares
for each child’s needs.
