Community Invited to Attend "Esther's Tea Party", A Sisterhood Celebration of Purim

Members of the community are invited to attend a very special tea party at 3:00 PM on Sunday, March 9, 2008, at Congregation B'nai Torah in Trumbull. The event will celebrate Esther, the lead figure in the story of Purim, a joyous Jewish holiday which begins this year at sundown on Thursday, March 20th.

The story of Purim includes two prominent women which was a strong attraction for the members of the B'nai Torah Sisterhood.

"We hope to have an entertainling, enlightening and empowering afternoon," said Debbie Velthuizen, of Trumbull, President of the B'nai Torah Sisterhood. "Our Purim committee has been working for months planning this Tea Party, which will include a Purim parody play and of course delicious refreshments. This will be a wonderful opportunity to get into the Purim spirit with old friends and make new ones."

For more information and to make your reservation at $18 per person please call the B'nai Torah office at 203-268-6940. For more information, click here.
