Sunday, December 8, 2019 10 Kislev 5780

12:30 PM - 3:00 PMCongregation B'nai Torah

What is Binky Patrol you ask? Binky Patrol is a national non-profit organization that was created to collect & deliver handmade blankets or “binkys” – defined as anything that brings comfort, to critically ill or traumatized children.

A $10 donation is suggested for materials.  Please bring a sharp scissor with you.

We gladly accept donations:

  • Cash or checks payable to Binky Patrol
  • Gift cards to Jo-Ann’s or Michael’s craft stores, or Walmart
  • NEW Yarn & fleece – machine washable
  • BLANKETS – Handmade: crocheted, knitted, quilted, or made of fleece; using any pattern you like, be machine washable and measure at least 36 inches by 36 inches.

We are the Monroe/Trumbull Chapter, and have been making & collecting blankets and then delivering them to children & any young person in need of a “binky hug” in the Greater Bridgeport & surrounding areas, since January 2014.

We reach out any time we hear someone is ill, lost a family member, or that their home has been damaged or destroyed by fire, flood or hurricane – here in the US and the Caribbean.
